1/4 cup of unsalted butter or margarine, softened
1 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 1/4 cups of sifted flour
2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of whole milk
2 egg whites
1/2 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 cup of unsalted butter or margarine, softened

Beat the butter or margarine until creamy
Gradually add 1 cup of all-purpose flour and continue beating well
Add the beaten eggs, one at a time, and mix well
Mix in the sifted flour, yeast, and salt
Alternate adding with milk
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form
Fold into the previous mixture
Pour into greased mini muffin cups
Mix 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour with cinnamon and pecans or walnuts
Dust over the balls
Bake in a moderate oven for 20-25 minutes.
