1 packet of onion soup mix
1 cup of breadcrumbs from morning bread
1/2 cup of scalded milk
500g of ground beef
250g of ground pork
1 egg
1/2 cup of chopped fresh parsley
2 spoons of olive oil
1/2 cup of pine nuts, toasted and chopped
3 cups of water
2 spoons of ketchup

Mix 1 spoon of onion soup mix (from the packet) with the breadcrumbs and milk
Let it rest for 5 minutes and then mix with the ground meats, egg, and parsley
Heat some olive oil in a frying pan and fry the pine nuts until lightly toasted
Remove with a slotted spoon
Add to the meat mixture
Make 18 meatballs and reserve
Put the remaining onion soup mix (from the packet) into the liquid of the frying pan
Add water and ketchup
Cook, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens
Place the meatballs in the sauce and cook for 20 minutes over low heat, or until well cooked
Serve with rice
