Grate and wash the manioc well
Cook in salted water
Drain and mash
Combine with butter or margarine, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and to taste
Mix well
Add all-purpose flour gradually until a medium consistency is achieved
Heat enough oil
Shape into balls or drop the mixture by spoonfuls into the hot oil and fry until golden brown
Let the fritters drain on paper towels
