2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
4 hamburger buns cut in half, toasted, and buttered
4 slices of pineapple rings in juice
4 thin tomato slices
4 thin onion slices

Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form 4 equal patties
Melt the butter and fry the hamburgers to desired doneness
Place 1 hamburger patty on each bun
Top with pineapple, tomato, and onion
Serve with mustard and close the sandwich.
