Sift together all dry ingredients and place in a bowl
Make a hole in the center and add the beaten egg and milk
Mix with a wooden spoon until a homogeneous mass forms
Heat the vegetable oil and, using a spoon, drop the dough into the skillet
Fry the fritters slowly until golden brown and dust with granulated sugar and cinnamon
Serve the fritters warm or at room temperature.
