Beat the butter, sugar, and egg yolks for 10 minutes
Add the coconut and beat until well mixed
Add the sifted flour, yeast, and salt
Beat until a homogeneous mass is obtained
Preheat the oven to medium temperature
Beat the egg whites until fluffy and fold them into the mixture with a wooden spoon
Pour the batter into the greased and floured pan and bake for 30 minutes or until, when inserting a toothpick, it comes out clean
