For the batter
3 eggs,
1 cup of sugar (180g)
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour (180g)

For the glaze and filling
4 large egg whites,
200g of dark chocolate chips, well chopped
1 cup of all-purpose flour (180g)
1/2 cup of water (120ml)
1 tablespoon of butter
For the batter

Preheat the oven to 400°F
Prepare the batter: combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
Divide the batter into two 21cm-diameter molds, greased with butter, and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Remove from the oven, let cool, and demold
Prepare the glaze: combine egg whites, chocolate chips, and flour in a blender and reserve
Heat water and sugar to the thread stage in a saucepan, test by lifting with a fork
Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then whisk into a smooth creme
Place one of the cakes on a plate, spread a portion of the glaze, cover with another cake, and top with the remaining glaze
If desired, reserve some glaze for decoration and pipe onto the cake
