In a double boiler, melt the chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly
Add in the butter and sugar slowly, stirring until smooth
Add in the flour and mix well
Briefly soak in hot water, then remove from heat and let sit for 1 minute
Beat in the eggs one at a time with a manual whisk after each addition

Preheat oven to medium temperature
Line the cake pan with parchment paper, grease with butter, and dust with flour
Pour in the batter and place on a water bath
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes

Place in the oven and bake for 45 minutes or until firm on the edges
Remove from oven and let sit for 1 hour
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 12 hours
Unmold and decorate with rose petals and candied orange peel.
