3 cups of basic cake mix
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1/2 cup of fresh pineapple or well-drained crushed pineapple

In a round 20cm-diameter form, place the cake mix, cinnamon, and mix well
Add the eggs and pineapple and stir with a spatula, scraping the sides of the form
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for 30 minutes or until, inserting a toothpick in the middle, it comes out clean
Let it cool down in the same form
If desired, garnish with pineapple rings and blackcurrant halves
Serves 4 to 6 people
