In a medium saucepan, combine the water, lemon juice, and sugar and bring to a boil over high heat until it reaches a simmer
Add the pineapples and cook until they are tender, without breaking apart
Remove from heat, add the cinnamon, mix well, and let cool
Serve over vanilla or chocolate ice cream in serving dishes
