1 kg of ground beef

2 tablespoons of salt
black pepper to taste
4 thick slices of bread, peeled and softened in water
1 1/2 cups of mashed banana
2 tablespoons of mustard
3 or 4 hard-boiled eggs

Mix all the ingredients except for the eggs
Place half of the mixture into a greased English-style cake mold
Peel the eggs and place them side by side in the middle of the mold
Cover with the remaining meat mixture and pat down well
Bake in a moderate oven for about 1 hour
Serve warm or cold, and cut into slices before serving
