Grease a 25 cm diameter hole in the middle of a cake mold very well
Bake the oven to moderate temperature (170°C)
In a large bowl, beat the butter or margarine and flour until it forms a foamy cream
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
Mix in the flour, baking powder, and unsweetened cocoa powder
Alternate adding the milk with the cream of butter and flour, beating well to combine
Beat until well combined
Add vanilla extract
Pour into the prepared cake mold
Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Let cool in the cake mold for 10 minutes
Remove from the cake mold and let cool completely
