For the batter
1 cup of butter
2 cups of sugar
4 egg whites
2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour sifted
1 cup of dark chocolate chips sifted
2 cups of warm milk
2 tablespoons of active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
For the glaze
3/4 cup of dark chocolate chips
2 cups of warm milk
3/4 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

Beat the butter and sugar until creamy
Add the egg whites one at a time, beating well after each addition
Gradually add the flour, dark chocolate chips, and warm milk, alternating with the yeast mixture
Beat for 5 more minutes
Mix in the active dry yeast, baking soda, and egg whites gently
Pour the batter into a rectangular pan greased and floured
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan
In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients for the glaze
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the glaze thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan
Remove from heat and let cool
Spread the glaze over the cake and serve cut into squares
