1 cup of natural yogurt
1 cup of ripe bananas mashed
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
1/2 cup of butter at room temperature
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 cups of all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 pinch of salt

In a mixer, beat the butter with the sugar until light and fluffy
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
Without stopping to beat, add the vanilla extract
Remove from the mixer and sift in the flour with the yeast, baking soda, and salt
Alternate adding the yogurt and mixing gently with low-to-high movements
Add the mashed bananas and chopped walnuts, mix slowly, and pour into a greased and floured pan
Bake in a medium oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown
If desired, dust with confectioner's sugar while still warm.
