Beat the butter with the grated carrot thoroughly
Add the egg yolks one by one and beat well again
Add the flour, yeast, orange juice, and mix until homogeneous
Set aside
Beat the egg whites until frothy and gently fold them into the batter
Grease the baking pan with butter and dust with all-purpose flour
Pour in the cake batter and bake for 25 minutes
Let it cool and cut into squares.
