In a stand mixer, beat the eggs well, then add the flour and beat for 5 minutes
Add the vanilla-flavored sugar and all-purpose flour, and mix until combined
Add the active dry yeast and melted butter, and mix well
Pour the batter into an untended 25 cm diameter pan greased with butter
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C), preheated, for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Remove from the oven, let cool, and unmold
Drain the pears from the can and blend them in a processor or blender until smooth
Serve with the cake cut into slices
