Beat the sugar with the egg whites until it becomes foamy

Add the grated orange zest
Then add the orange juice, milk, and flour
Mix gently until a smooth batter forms

Fold in half of the whipped egg whites and mix vigorously
Then fold in the remaining egg whites and mix delicately

Pour the cake mixture into a greased and floured pan
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for an hour or until the cake starts to come away from the sides
Let it cool down and then remove it from the mold

Glaze the cake with orange gelatin and decorate with orange peel.
