4 eggs
1 cup of all-purpose flour (120 g)
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/4 cup of melted butter (50 g)
For the glaze
1 cup of caramel (180 g)
1 cup of water (240 ml)
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 350°F (medium)
Grease a round cake pan with margarine, leaving an indentation in the center. Reserve
Prepare the batter: In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients
Transfer the batter to the prepared cake pan and place it in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (about 20 minutes)
Unmold onto a serving plate
Prepare the glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the caramel, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon
A little at a time, add in the water, stirring constantly until the caramel is dissolved
Add in the vanilla extract
Pour the warm glaze over the cake and let it cool before serving
