1 cup of sugar (180g)
1 egg
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
2 cups of wheat flour (240g)
1 tablespoon of grated lemon zest
1 cup of plums (160g)
1/4 cup of confectioner's sugar (40g for dusting)

Grease a 21 cm x 31 cm baking dish with butter and dust with wheat flour. Reserve
Preheat the oven to 180°C (medium)
In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (approximately 4 minutes)
Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well
Gradually add the wheat flour, mixing always with a wooden spoon
Add the grated lemon zest and plums and mix until homogeneous
Transfer to the prepared baking dish and bake in the preheated oven until, when inserting a toothpick into the center of the mixture, it comes out dry (approximately 30 minutes)
Let cool
Dust with confectioner's sugar and cut into pieces of 5 cm x 6 cm
Serve immediately
