2 tablespoons of butter or margarine

1 cup of cake flour without the whey
2 1/2 cups of wheat flour
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
2 cups of chopped dried fruits

Cream the butter with the honey, add the eggs, sifted flour with yeast, whey cake, and beaten egg whites
Combine all the ingredients except for the dried fruits and beat well
Coat the chopped dried fruits with wheat flour and mix into the very well-beaten batter
Place in a greased mold and bake in a regular oven for 60 to 80 minutes
Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the mold
Let sit on a wire rack.
