Preheat the oven to a moderate temperature (170°F)
In a bowl, mix together the flour and melted butter or margarine
Spread and level the dough in the bottom of a 22cm diameter cake pan
Combine ricotta, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a blender until smooth
Pour into the cake pan, spreading evenly on top, and bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes
Turn off the oven and let the cake cool with the oven door open
Once cooled, remove the sides of the pan
Melt the chocolate with butter or margarine and decorate the surface.
