For the dough:
4 large egg yolks, separated from the whites
1 packet (30g) of biological yeast
1/2 cup warm milk
1/2 cup melted butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 pinch of salt
4 cups all-purpose flour
Warm melted butter
Honey mixed with cinnamon powder
Dried cranberries and chopped nuts
Fruit syrup or guava sauce

Preheat the oven to medium temperature (180°C)
Prepare the dough: in a stand mixer, beat the egg whites until they form stiff peaks
Add the egg yolks and continue beating for 2 minutes
In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk
Add the melted butter, honey, salt, beaten eggs, and mix well
Add the flour and mix until the dough becomes homogeneous
Knead well
Remove small pieces of dough, shape into balls the size of an almond, and let them rest for about 1 hour or until they rise
Preheat the oven to medium temperature (180°C)
Cover the balls of dough with melted butter and roll them in the honey-cinnamon mixture
Lay a layer of dough at the bottom of a ring mold
Dust with dried cranberries and chopped nuts
Drizzle with half of the fruit syrup or guava sauce
Lay another layer of dough on top
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown
Remove from the mold, drizzle with the remaining fruit syrup or guava sauce, and serve warm.
