Step 1
Sift the cocoa and mix with flour and baking powder. Reserve
Step 2
Separate egg whites from yolks and beat until snowy
Add yolks one at a time, beating continuously
Add granulated sugar and beat again
Step 3
Gradually add the flour mixture and milk, alternating, and mix well
Distribute dough in two greased pans, 24 centimeters in diameter each
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes
Let cool slightly and demold
Filling
Mix all ingredients and heat until thickened
Spread over one cake and top with another
Topping
Mix all ingredients and cook over low heat, stirring until it comes off the bottom of the pan
Pour hot topping over the cake
Decorate with shredded coconut.
