4 cups of cane syrup
1 1/2 cups of grated coconut
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of manioc flour sifted
1 cup of all-purpose flour sifted
3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of baking soda
A pinch of sweetgrass and cinnamon to taste
4 cups of cane syrup

Bring the cane syrup, coconut, butter, sugar, milk, and spices to a boil
Remove from heat
Let it cool slightly, then add the manioc flour and all-purpose flour
Mix well and return to the heat
Cook constantly, stirring, until the mixture starts to release from the bottom of the pan
Remove from heat and let cool, while beating eggs with salt and baking soda
Add the warm dough, mix vigorously, and reserve
Cut 10 medium-sized squares with paper leaves and divide the dough among them
Roll up each square like a little package and place in an oven-safe dish
Bake in a medium preheated oven for about 1 hour.
