1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted

Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt
Set aside
In a separate bowl, cream together the melted butter or margarine and granulated sugar with an electric mixer
Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract
Beat for an additional 2 minutes
Add the dry ingredients and mix until well combined
Fold in the shredded coconut
Pour into a greased 20x30cm baking dish
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for 30 minutes or until cooked through
Let cool in the pan
Cut into squares.
