Preheat the oven to 350°F (moderate heat)
Grease a baking dish or a square pan with butter and dust with flour. Reserve
Prepare the chocolate layer: in a saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth
Remove from the heat and let cool for 10 minutes
Add the sugar and vanilla extract
Beat in the eggs one at a time with a wooden spoon, until thick and smooth
Mix in the flour and salt
Spread the mixture into the prepared pan and reserve
Prepare the cream cheese layer: in a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sugar, and orange zest with a wooden spoon, until smooth
Beat in the egg and flour
With a large spoon, spread the cream cheese mixture over the chocolate layer and use a knife to swirl the two mixtures together
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown, then let cool in the pan
Cut into squares
