1 clove of garlic
6 slices of Italian bread, filone type
2 fresh pepperoncini
Olive oil to taste
1 onion, cut into rings

1 onion, cut into rings
Mince the garlic and spread it on the bread slices
Arrange the bread slices in a baking dish and place it in a medium-temperature oven that has been preheated until the bread starts to brown
While the bread is in the oven, remove the skin and chop the pepperoncini
Fry them in a little olive oil and set aside
In the same pan, cook the onion until it's translucent and soft
Remove the bread from the oven and spread some of the pepperoncini on each slice
Top with rings of onion and serve immediately.
