In a small saucepan, cook all the ingredients over low heat, stirring until dissolved
Cook until you get a slightly thick syrup, similar to honey (when you pick up some of the syrup with a spoon, it should flow like a thin string)
Remove from heat and let cool
Use immediately or store in the refrigerator, covered, for up to a week
Add a scoop of your preferred ice cream to a plate, then drizzle with the syrup
