In a pressure cooker, combine the black beans and water and cook for approximately 25 minutes after it starts to pressurize or until the beans are tender
Reserve the cooking liquid

Mash the black beans in a legume mill or quickly in a processor
In a pan, heat the olive oil, sauté the onion and garlic
Add the mashed black beans and reserved cooking liquid
Season with salt and black pepper
