2 cups (sopa) of vegetable oil (canola, corn or sunflower)
1 clove of garlic minced
1 medium onion diced
1 kg of potato peeled and cut into large chunks
1 liter of boiling water
1 small piece (50g) of smoked tofu
Salt to taste
4 slices of turkey breast (or cubed pork), optional
1 bowl (bottom) of chopped cabbage
4 cups (sopa) of chopped bell pepper
2 cups (sopa) of vegetable oil (canola, corn or sunflower)

In a pot, heat the oil and sauté the garlic and onion
Add the potato and sauté
Add the water, tofu, and salt
Cook for 20 minutes
Remove the tofu and discard
Blend the soup in a blender
Return to the pot, add the sausage and cook for an additional three minutes
Add the chopped cabbage and adjust the seasoning
Sprinkle with bell pepper.
