1 package of Swedish crackers (available at supermarkets)
1 cup of ham or turkey breast, thinly sliced
1/2 container of cream cheese
1 drop of edible green aniline dye
2 egg whites
Parsley or thyme leaves for garnish (optional)
Let the ham sit at room temperature to soften
Then, reserve it
Beat the softened ham with a manual whisk or fork until it's smooth and set aside
Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the ham gently
Place in a piping bag (with a small, flat tip) and make twists on crackers
Reserve again
Mix the cream cheese with the aniline dye to achieve a uniform color
Transfer to another piping bag with the same tip used previously and make more twists over the crackers, crossing the two colors
If desired, sprinkle with parsley or thyme leaves
Serve immediately
