Directions

Cut the beef into strips approximately 7 cm in length and 2 1/2 inches in width

Melt the butter in a pan and fry the beef on all sides

Add the chopped onion and cook until it lightly browns

Add the sliced mushrooms, paprika, and salt to taste

Cover the pan well

Bake in a moderate oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until the beef is tender
