The day before, soak the dry beef in water
Let it sit overnight
On the next day, drain and place the beef in a large pot with 2 liters of water
Cook until tender. Reserve
In another pan, fry the onions in olive oil until caramelized and golden
Set aside
In the same pan as the onions, add the dry beef and cook until browned
If needed, add more olive oil
Then, combine the fried onions and season with salt
Cook the cassava in water until tender
Drain and then mash well
In a pot with the cassava, add milk and butter
Heat over medium heat and stir until a light paste forms
Remove from heat and serve with the dry beef
