1 clean turkey, cut into pieces
1 chopped onion
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
salt and black pepper to taste
2 liters of tucupi
2 handfuls of jambu leaves

Season the turkey with all the seasonings
Roast it in the oven with a little oil until golden brown
When done, remove from the oven
In a pot, combine tucupi and roasted turkey pieces
Simmer until the turkey is tender
Add more tucupi if necessary
Add jambu leaves and simmer until they are tender
Serve with coarse manioc flour (known as farinha d'agua in ParΓ‘, it's a crunchy, flavorful addition)
Serves 4 people.
