2.5 lbs of carrots
1/2 teaspoon of salt
4 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon of cumin
1/3 cup of brandy
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
2.5 lbs of carrots

Wash the carrots
Trim the ends, peel with a vegetable peeler or scrape with a knife
Cut into long strips, 4 parts each
Then cut each strip into 5cm pieces
Boil in salted water for 30 minutes or until tender
Drain, rinse and fry the carrot in butter with cumin
Add heated brandy and ignite
Sprinkle with parsley
Serve 4-6 portions.
