4 cups of boiling water
2 spoons of chaya leaves (or 2 tea bags)
3/4 cup of sugar
2 1/2 cups of pineapple juice
1 cup of cold water
1/4 cup of lime juice

Place the boiling water over the chaya leaves and let it steep for 6 to 8 minutes
Strain or remove the tea bags
Add the sugar and stir until completely dissolved
Combine the pineapple juice, lime juice, and mix well
Chill in the refrigerator and serve in a thermos at the picnic
Yield: 2 liters.
