1/2 cup of strong coffee or warmed orange juice

1 cup of crushed ice
1 cup of heavy cream

8 champagne biscuits, cut in half
maraschino cherries or hazelnuts, chopped

Blend the hot coffee and gelatin together in a blender at high speed until dissolved
Add the crushed ice, heavy cream, to taste, and brandy
Blend on low speed for 20 seconds, until the mixture thickens
Pour 1/4 cup of this mixture into four individual cups or glasses
Dip the biscuits quickly in milk
Place 4 biscuit halves around each cup or glass
Finish by filling with cream, dividing the mixture evenly among the cups
Garnish with cherries or hazelnuts and refrigerate until served
Note: If using orange juice, substitute brandy for liqueur of orange
