For the rice
1 cup of cooked white rice (200g)
3 1/2 cups of water (840ml)
For the salad
2 large bunches of green onions (460g)
4 1/2 tablespoons of soy sauce (shoyu)
3 tablespoons of sesame oil
1 1/2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes
6 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds

1 teaspoon of black pepper
500g of small shiitake mushrooms, cut in half
1 kg of frozen beef mignon, sliced

Cook the rice: In a medium saucepan, cover the rice with water and bring to a boil
Reduce heat to low and cook without stirring until the water is absorbed (about 20 minutes)
Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 5 minutes in the saucepan
For the salad: Slice the green onions into strips and place in a small bowl
In another small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and garlic
Season the green onions with this mixture, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds, and reserve
For the glaze: Divide the sesame oil among four small bowls and, in the center of each, place 1/2 teaspoon of salt, forming small mounds
Sprinkle each mound with 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Reserve
Distribute the rice among four individual serving dishes
Arrange the mushrooms and beef on separate skewers
Heat an electric grill to medium-high heat
Around the grill, arrange the serving dishes with rice, salad, beef, mushrooms, and glaze
Grease the grill with butter
Place the beef and mushrooms on the grill in batches and cook rapidly
Flip and cook the other side
Brush with the glaze and serve with salad and rice on the side

If you don't have one, use a regular skillet and heat it over a gas flame
