Combine the water, butter or margarine, and salt in a pot
Place over medium heat and bring to a simmer
Remove from heat as soon as it reaches a boil and the butter has melted; add all the flour at once, stirring vigorously with a wooden spoon
Return to low heat and continue stirring until the dough comes away from the sides of the pot
Break 1 egg into a cup at a time and beat lightly with a fork
Add the dough and mix well before adding the second egg
Add the orange zest and mix well
Have a frying pan with oil or vegetable oil, about 10 cm deep
When hot, place the dough in a pastry bag and squeeze out strips of about 4 cm thickness
Each strip should be around 30 cm long
Fry some strips at once
As they fry, they will grow and take on a spiral shape
When golden brown, remove from oil and drain on paper towels
