1 hare weighing around 2 kg or 2 smaller hares

1 clove of garlic
1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
1 cup of cooked and chopped bell peppers
1 tablespoon of curry powder or to taste
3 tablespoons of wheat flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
3 cups of chicken broth

Cut the hares into pieces
Lightly dust with wheat flour and fry in 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine until browned on all sides
In a pan, melt 1/2 cup of butter or margarine and sauté the garlic for 3 minutes
Remove the garlic
Add the onion, bell peppers, and curry powder
Cook, stirring constantly, until the onion is soft
Add the flour and salt, and cook for an additional 3 minutes
Add the lemon juice and gradually add the chicken broth, stirring constantly
Add the hare pieces, cover, and cook until tender, adding more broth as needed
Serve with rice
