Cut the hare into pieces
Season with salt and pepper
Dredge in oil or melted butter
Remove the hare pieces from the pan
Add flour to the fat
Join hot broth
Cook until it thickens, stirring constantly
Add remaining ingredients
Add the hare pieces and cook slowly until the meat is tender, adding more broth as needed
