There are three ways to remove the skin.
Place the pepper in a pot with water and simmer for approximately 15 minutes. Let it cool and peel it off.
Put it in the oven on a baking sheet for about 30 minutes, flipping occasionally. Gently scrape off the skin with a small knife.
Over an open flame, let the pepper burn until almost entirely black. Place it in a plastic bag, let it cool, and remove the skin under running water.
