Peel the jumbos and cut the pulps in half lengthwise
Place the jumbo peels into a pot, along with the water, and bring to a boil until the water turns pink
Remove from heat, strain, and pour the liquid into a pot along with the sugar and pulps
Bring to a simmer and cook until a thick syrup forms and the jumbos are fully cooked.
