Wash the large orange thoroughly and remove any seeds or pulp
Squeeze the juice into a pot with the water, sugar, cloves, and cinnamon
Bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve directly into a bottle
Peel the other orange
Remove the white pith
Cut the orange in half and then into small cubes
Add the mixture from step 3 to the liqueur and fill the bottle
Secure the lid tightly.
