Cream the butter with the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt to obtain a cream
Add the all-purpose flour and then the pecans
Mix until forming a dough and wrap it between 2 sheets of parchment paper, dusted with flour
Shape into a circle and refrigerate for 30 minutes
Unwrap the dough on a floured surface and roll out
Cut with various cookie cutters and arrange the cookies in a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake in a medium oven preheated to 350°F for approximately 20 minutes, or until lightly golden brown at the bottom
Remove from the oven and baking sheet after cooling
Decorate with sprinkles.
