1 1/2 kg of beef ribs
2 spoons of olive oil

1 spoon of mustard
1/2 cup of vinegar

3/4 cup of finely chopped onion
salt and black pepper to taste

Cut the ribs into pieces
Fry the pieces in olive oil until they're well browned on all sides
Mix together water, mustard, vinegar, oregano, onion, salt, black pepper, and bay leaf
Cover the pot and cook slowly until the meat is almost tender, adding more water if needed
Add the cabbage sticks and cook for 25 minutes, or until the cabbage is cooked through, adding more water if needed
Serve the ribs on a platter, surrounded by the cooked cabbage
Serve 4 portions
