For the white sauce
1/4 cup all-purpose flour (30g)
2 cups milk (480ml)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pinch of nutmeg
For the tomato sauce
1 can of crushed tomatoes (400g)
3 slices of smoked bacon (45g) chopped
2 bouillon cubes (24g)
1/2 cup water (120ml)
200g pre-made lasagna noodles
10 slices of ham (200g)
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese (200g)
For the white sauce

2 cups grated mozzarella cheese (200g)
Make the white sauce: in a medium pan, combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened (about 5 minutes)
Remove from heat and reserve
Make the tomato sauce: blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Reserve
Preheat oven to 180°C (medium)
Spread one-third of the tomato sauce at the bottom of a 19cm x 31cm dish
Cover with half the lasagna noodles, then spread another one-third of the tomato sauce on top
Cover with half the ham, sprinkle with one-third of the mozzarella cheese, and finally, spread one-third of the white sauce on top
Repeat the layering sequence starting with the lasagna noodles, sprinkling with mozzarella cheese at the end
Cover with aluminum foil
Bake in a preheated oven until the filling is soft (about 30 minutes)
Serve immediately
