1 kg of beef ribs seasoned to taste
4 large onions sliced into rings
3 tablespoons of olive oil
3-4 red bell peppers sliced into rings
1 cup of brown rice
1/2 cabbage medium-sized cut into sticks (about 6)
3 cups of water

Clean the beef ribs, removing excess fat and grime
Cut the beef ribs into pieces and season with salt to taste
In a large press-top pan, fry the onion in olive oil until it starts to caramelize
Add the beef ribs and bell peppers
Stir well until browned
Add the rice and stir-fry
Add 2 1/2 cups of water, close the pan, and cook for about 45 minutes from when the liquid comes to a boil
Arrange the cabbage on top of the beef ribs
Add the remaining 1/2 cup of water, re-cover the pan, and cook for an additional 10 minutes from when the pan is closed
Remove from heat, check seasoning, and serve immediately
Serves 4.
