Cut the pork ribs into three-rib sections each
Brown the pork ribs in a pan without oil, until they lightly brown and release some fat
Add the chopped onion and garlic and cook
Season with salt, cover with water, and cook until the meat is tender
Mix together ketchup, vinegar, corn syrup, and a pinch of salt
Remove the pork ribs from the cooking liquid and place them in a baking dish
Baste with the ketchup mixture and put it in a medium oven to caramelize, basting with the sauce that forms on the baking dish as you go
Serve immediately.
