1 medium chive blossom
1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon lemon juice
250g grated cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Salt and black pepper to taste

Cut the chive blossoms into 2.5cm pieces
Soak them in salted water for five minutes, then drain and rinse under cold running water
Drain again, season with salt and black pepper, and reserve
Mix the heavy cream with lemon juice and reserve
In a greased refrigerator dish, make a layer with half of the chive blossoms
Douse with a little acidic cream and spread half of the grated cheese
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up
Bake in a medium preheated oven until the cheese melts
Serve immediately.
